In 2015 I started Team Recorder - a youtube channel where I make and publish weekly tutorials on all aspects of recorder playing and music making.
To my delight, the channel took off - and now we have a community of 210,000 recorder players, and counting! Recorder players of all ages, all backgrounds, all over the world.
Team Recorder has been proud to partner with brands such as Hal Leonard, Schott Music, Yamaha, the BBC, Netflix, Disney, Apple Music Classical, MuseScore, ABRSM, and the Early Music Shop.
My mission statement: There are recorder players all over the world, but quality information and teachers are not always readily available. Many live far away from other musicians, or do not have the financial means to follow formal lessons. I want to share my knowledge from my Conservatory studies and experience in the professional field with a wider audience. We will keep raising the profile of the recorder, together. And most of all - it should be fun!
